Researching International Human Rights Law : News

Newspapers

Newspapers may be extremely helpful when researching human rights developments around the world. Westlaw and Lexis both have good coverage of U.S., international, and foreign newspapers.

In addition, the UIC Databases list includes Access World News, which contains content from thousands of U.S. and international newspapers, news services, magazines, transcripts, and blogs. UIC Databases also include a group subscription to the New York Times. Any UIC Law user may obtain a renewable one-year academic pass to this database by going to Databases, clicking on the New York Times link and creating an account with a UIC email address.
