Civil Code of Chile

International Comparative Legal Guides (ICLG)

The UK-based Global Legal Group Limited publishes an "International Comparative Legal Guide Series," with each title covering multiple jurisdictions with each chapter dedicated to one country; Chile is included in several of the titles. Local law firms generally author the chapters, which are in Q & A format.

Spanish/English Law Dictionaries

Bilingual Spanish/English legal dictionaries are available at the UIC Law Library.  See a reference librarian for help locating them. Note that there is also a free online dictionary of Chilean legal terms available (in Spanish only), produced in collaboration with Chile's Poder Judicial.
